Siôn Smith writes in a mashed-up style that lies somewhere between dirty realism and pop culture. He also writes songs for his new project and promises to expand on that when there's something to tell.

He dislikes writing in the third person so much, I'm not going to do it anymore.

I write books longhand with a Waterman, songs with a Gretsch and a Blackwing. I was once described as 'Byronesque' which may be the nicest thing anybody ever said about me.

I run a minimalist mindset and own just twelve things because you should never own so much that you can't leave town in 24 hours with your world in the back of the car.

I'm also the editor of Skin Deep magazine which is big enough to fend for itself without any help from me here. Occasionally, people at the BBC and CNN call me to come out and play.

I fall in and out of bed with instagram when it comes to social media - you can either send me a direct message there or drop me an email via the Taken Books contact page

Clicking through the covers below will take you to more information about the title and its current availability - if you're looking for limited edition copies, inside these covers is where that happens. You can find all of my books, available or otherwise, on my page at amazon

As detailed in this blog post, my 5% of Taken will initially be heading to the TerraMar Project. They do vast and important work for the oceans of the world and the knock on effect to the benefit of the human race should not be underestimated. If you find yourself feeling like I did after wandering through their site, you can help by adopting an entire species. Who could resist the soft and fluffy face of the hammerhead shark? Certainly not me.
